PTA-8950 is an IPTV Box receiving TV sources from Wall or Set-Top-Box via TV Tuner, RCA or S-Video on the one end, compressing the video in the format of H.264 & the audio in the format of AAC, and transmitting the compressed media to the internet or internet on the other end. With the application software installed on your computer, 3G mobile phone or Wi-Fi PDA, you could control the TV Tuner or Set-Top-Box via IR connection between IPTV Box & Set-Top-Box, and watch & record TV programs on the go..
